There is a new parking payment system in place at Sacramento International Airport, known as ParkSmart, an automated parking system designed to speed up entry and exit to and from the car parks. Drivers can pay by cash or credit card, with American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa and Diner's Club cards all accepted.

Multi-Level Garage

The multi-level garage is located directly opposite Terminal A and is available for short-term and long-term parking. The garage is connected to the terminal by walkways and is the safest and most secure of the airport's car parks, yet it is also the most expensive parking option at Sacramento International Airport (SMF).

Hourly

The Hourly parking lot is located directly in front of Terminal B and surrounds the Host Hotel. The first 30 minutes of parking here are free, allowing more time for drop-offs and pickups than the designated places outside of each terminal.

Daily

The Daily car park is split into two lots and is located south of Terminal B on Airport boulevard. Parking rates are much cheaper here than for the hourly and garage car parks, yet not as cheap as the Economy car park. Free, wheelchair-accessible shuttles provide transport to the terminal entrances.

Economy

The Economy car park is huge and it contains the bulk of the car park spaces available at Sacramento International Airport. It is located along Aviation drive, to the south of Terminal A, and offers the best option for those planning on parking at the airport for a number of days or weeks. Free shuttles provide access to the terminals throughout the day and night.

Disabled

Designated disabled parking spaces are available for those with disabled license plates or valid DMV placards in the Economy, Hourly and Daily lots. Skycaps porters are available to offer assistance to disabled passengers at all parking lots and free, wheelchair-accessible shuttle buses run throughout the day.
