Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is the main air hub for the northeast of California State and the city of Sacramento. The airport handles about ten million passengers per year, through 14 airlines and two terminal buildings.

Facilities at both terminals are very good, with cash machines throughout as well as a postal service, lost property, medical facilities and children's play areas.

Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets


You will find a good range of shops located throughout both terminals at Sacramento International Airport (SMF). There is a sunglasses shop and newsagents as well as book, gift and travel goods shops.

Bars, Cafés and Restaurants


Dining options are reasonable at Sacramento International Airport, with fast-food outlets, coffee shops, a Chinese restaurant and bars. There is also a food court in Terminal B.

Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities


There are cash machines in convenient locations throughout the airport and a dedicated post office on Lindbergh drive, just south of Terminal B. In addition, house phones and public telephones are also well distributed.

Business and Conference Facilities


The Host International Hotel, opposite Terminal B, provides good business facilities and two, well-equipped conference rooms for those visiting Sacramento International Airport (SMF). Wi-Fi Internet access is also available throughout the terminals.

Disabled Facilities


The airport is fully accessible to disabled travelers, with wheelchair assistance by Skycap porters, TDD phones, ramps, lifts and adapted toilets located throughout the airport as well as lift-equipped shuttle buses.
